Herbi-Palooza 2011 is coming!! That's right kids, the film fest to end all film fests is on its way. You don't want to miss this!
Saturday, August 6, 2011 The Viaduct Theater (3111 North Western Avenue Chicago, IL 60618) Doors open at 6:30 p.m. / Program starts at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $8.00 at the door
Herbi-Palooza 2011 will include the following films: "How Deep Is The Rabbit Hole?", "You Are What You Eat", and "The Mockingbird"! But that's not all! Cast and crew members from all three movies will be there, film introductions from the directors, a Q&A session following the last film, and an after party at the Viaduct Theater's lounge!! All that for 8 bucks!! (Total run time for all three movies is a little over an hour.)
The Viaduct Theater is located near the Belmont / Western / Clybourne intersection, to the East of the viaduct. A parking lot is available at the Southwest corner of Belmont and Western (right across the street from the theater.) Just look for the lot surrounded by the black iron fence...that's the one! The building inside says its for a welding company, but fear not, the parking lot is for the Viaduct Theater!! Parking is $5.00
If you are driving South on Western Avenue to get to the theater, DO NOT go over the viaduct! Instead, stay in the right lane, go under the viaduct, and you'll see it on the East side of the street (the parking lot will be on the West side of the street.) If you are driving North on Western Avenue, again, DO NOT go over the viaduct! Just stay in the right lane and you'll see the theater on your right!
Tickets will be available before the show on the Viaduct Theater's website soon!!

What's up HerbiFans? It's almost time to start filming "The Mockingbird" and we're all pretty psyched to dive into this next project. We're very happy to announce the addition of Chicago actress Kasey O'Brien to our already stellar cast and the return of SFX "everything girl" Jenni Schenk and director of photography Tony Colon behind the scenes.

Hey HerbiFans! We at Herbivore Productions would like to sincerely thank all of YOU for making 2010 a great inaugural year for us by supporting our films!
We're happy to announce that "Gless" will be premiering in Orlando, Phoenix, and St. Louis during the weekend of October 9th!! Thank you to those who put together these premieres and to all of you who could make it out to watch the movie!
9-30-10
It is with heavy hearts and teary eyes that we bid actress Melissa Malan a fond farewell as she departs Chicago and heads for the sun, sand, and success of Hollywood. Melissa has been a part of the Herbivore Productions family since the beginning, starring in our first two film projects as well as co-directing "Gless". She is an incredible actress and an even more amazing person. Without her talent, charisma, and infectious passion for acting and film production, Herbi wouldn't have been able to produce two films in under one year (and we are forever grateful!)
Melissa will truly be missed and we wish her nothing but the best of luck as she follows her dreams.
9-25-10
We're happy to announce that "Gless" is now available for sale in the HerbiMart as a limited edition 4 disc DVD set!! Be sure to buy one (or two or three) before they run out!!
