"Gless" tells the story of a young woman named Gless Dresden who lives in a deep state of psychosis, one that causes her to have frequent auditory and visual hallucinations as well as a distorted, often false, memory of the people in her life.  Her father died when she was a child and she remembers her mother as being a sadistic disciplinarian.  After her father's death, Gless fell into a life of depression and began to develop psychotic tendencies.  In addition to the haunting memories of her childhood, she is tormented by an imaginary character who appears to her as a companion, but is every part of her illness, pushing Gless towards self-destruction and violence.  Gless struggles to repress the pain she holds inside until a final encounter with her mother forces her to confront the truth about her past.
